Hi class,
after taking a look at your common tests and class tests, I feel that most of you have a tendency to forget the formulas very easily.
Since the mid-year exams is just around the corner, I want everyone of you to start writing out the formulas on a simple piece of paper. Don't lose this paper, and always refer to it whenever you do your revision or homework. This paper will also come in handy when you do your past year exam papers.
Best regards,
Mr Shahrom

Maths Magic Trick for Maths Month
Hi class,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRARyHEnh9Q
the URL above shows the link to the magic trick where two HIHS students conduct a magic trick.
Do you know how they do it? What is the Maths concept behind it? How do you explain the way the guy can find out the number?
Think about it and we can discuss about it after class...

Expectations of the Blog
Hi Class,
this is a blog with the objectives of enhancing your understanding of Maths through Informal Assessment. This website will only be successful if you choose to participate effectively in this blog.
I will be posting some thought-provoking questions in future but first, the rules of the blog.
1) No FLAMING of any HI students, and be respectful of other users of the blog
2) This blog is used purely for Maths, not for publicising other people's birthday and some complaints about other students
3) Participate actively in the blog by posting QUALITY comments so that everyone can learn from each other.
Hope to see all of you signed up in this blog:
